DESCRIPTION:Our June volunteering event will be at the Diaper Bank of NC\, a non-profit that provides access to essential hygiene items to promote the dignity\, health\, and quality of life for the people of NC. We will be working in their Hillsborough\, NC\, warehouse from 9:30am-11:30am on June 10. Volunteers are required to register on their website here https://volunteer.nationaldiaperbanknetwork.org/registrations/PfZcjLjha5/claim_spot and complete this waiver form:  https://form.jotform.com/202125631919048 . Please note that closed-toed shoes are required. Also\, bring water and dress for warm weather as the warehouse does not have A/C. \nIt’s about a 45 min drive to the warehouse from North Raleigh UMC (where we meet for our monthly coffee). If you’re interested in car pooling\, meet in the church parking at 8:15am on the 10th. DESCRIPTION:Alliance Medical Ministry (AMM) has a community garden that produces fruit and vegetables for patients who suffer from food insecurities.  AMM is dependent on volunteers to maintain their garden\, so we’ve scheduled a 2 hr event (9-11am) on April 15 to help prepare the garden for the 2026 season!  The garden is located at 101 Donald Ross Drive\, adjacent to the AMM clinic.  Please RSVP if you’d like to spend a few hours doing “dirt therapy” (as a friend of mine calls it) and helping a local charity!
